'Tis the Season

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at our house. The tree is up, my fine gingerbread house is prominently displayed, Mr. Snowman replaced Teddy in my bed, and my premier night in the school musical was a success! I knew my early days of dancing were preparing me for the big time.

I'll be adding my ornaments next!

That's me in the pink shirt, with the cloud-like angel wing, doing a little two-stepping! Click on the photo and you can see me more clearly.

Sitting and bell shaking at the appropriate time. We had weeks of training for this! tee-hee.

I decorated a gingerbread house at my friend, Taylor's house. Notice the symmetry....Mommy and Daddy helped. It wasn't long before I learned these colorful round things tasted sweet and yummy.

Thanksgiving in Florida

This Thanksgiving, I learned that warm beaches can be sandy (Toasty-warm Nice has a pebble beach) and sandy beaches can be hot (Seattle's Golden Gardens sandy beach is barely warm on our hottest summer days). I saw a beached turtle, was buried in the sand, looked for shells with Mommy, braved the surf with Daddy. We wouldn't trade our Florida days for anything! Nearly my whole family was together.....the UK Robertsons, the Orlando/Lady Lake Toppings, most of the St. Louis Toppings. What fun!

Sand....a never-ending source of fun!

Mommy and I look for shells among the seaweed.

Can you tell Mommy likes the beach as much as I?

The tide left him behind and the nice beachcombers dug a "home" for him until the Fisheries Department came to rescue him.

Daddy teaches me about ebb and flow.

I'm so happy to be at Cocoa Beach!

Baking with Mommy

Mommy and I made Apple Turnovers this weekend. It was my first baking project and I had so much fun creating....and eating....along the way!

Autumn Day at Rattlesnake Lake

With the leaves turning and falling, there wasn't a more beautiful place to play!

October Beach Day

One of our warmest "summer" days, we visited Golden Gardens beach. Daddy built castle after castle and I knocked them all down. Then, he dug a canal from the rising tide back to the castle and I stomped in the water. A great Autumn day!

A Day at the Children's Museum

Today, we joined the Children's Museum right down the hill from our house. We'll have plenty of fun, now, even when it's raining outside!

Nearly Well

One and one-half hours of playtime with Daddy exhausts me. I couldn't make it to the bed.

The Joys of Daycare

After many days of feeling blah, I learned I had a nasty ear infection. Doc T placed me on antibiotics and after 24 hours, I'm starting to feel a little normal. Mommy's lap is still the best place for me, though.

No Photos, Please!

I wouldn't let Mommy place any photos of me. I've been ill for a few weeks, now, and really ill since Monday. Bad hair, dried mucus all over, pajamas covered with a bit of everything. A photo just wouldn't do.

Feeling Feverish

I stay in my pajamas. Mommy reads my favorite books to me over and over. She holds me all day long! Too bad I feel so blaaahhhhhh.

My First School Project

Last week in "school", I made Mommy and Daddy a card complete with my sentiments and my signature....a bright yellow handprint.

Princess of the Hill

Today we played in Gasworks Park overlooking our city. Up and down I climbed, the concrete pyramids were just my size and I was "Princess of the Hill." Down below I saw Lake Union and the Canal where Mommy rows.

All in a Day's Adventure

Swept Away

Who would think our ferry trip across the Puget Sound would also be my wind-dancing debut. How many Gs are there in a ferry wind tunnel, anyway?
